1st time here. I went to the Merle Haggard/Buck Owens tribute band concert. At $32, I found it a little pricey when I can find tribute band at a bar for no cover (they made no attempt to sound like Merle or Buck). I sat at a bar table, but only saw the waitress once or twice. Got all my drinks myself; not sure it's supposed to be this way, since I was at a bar table. Decent crowd, good bartenders.

If I could give this play zero stars I would. We have been to many concerts here over the years and it has continued to get worse. It is very poorly managed. The security staff is practically non existent, which really is a major problem considering they continually over fill the place. It is sad that this venue is managed the way it is, because they do have good shows here. But unless you want to pay $7.50 for a 12 oz Miller Lite, not be able to see the show you paid $40 for, and be crammed shoulder to shoulder into a venue that is an obvious fire hazard, I recommend waiting until the band you want to see is playing somewhere else. The knitting factory really knows how to ruin a good concert and I guarantee you'll walk away feeling the same way.

Have attended more concerts at The Knit than I can count over the last decade and a half and I've always enjoyed myself...security staff and the rest of the staff (bartenders, etc...) are always great and have never had a problem. Follow the rules and be smart and ou won't either... Will say that it would be nice to see the space opened up, more (less railings & odd ways to maneuver to the floor, etc) and a few more sets of tables & chairs. Also, the drink prices are a little ridiculous...even bottled water is highway robbery...but the venue, itself is a great little local concert hall!!

Love the intimate setting with awesome artists however I am disabled and the area they had set up for disabled person's was very disappointing. We were placed in a sectioned off area like sardines and you couldn't see the band at all. I ended up leaving that section and being uncomfortable but being able to enjoy the band more. Worth getting a table up top if you can snag one.

The drinks are pricey! 3 dollars for water, 6 for small beer, and shots start at 8. Don't plan on doing a lot of drinking unless you don't care about spending a small fortune! The staff is friendly which is a plus and the music good. Still had a fun time and we'll go back.
