Boise, Idaho, has no shortage of great pubs, but Prost! stands out for its authentic German flair. Beers rotate frequently, but you can always count on a wide selection of German favorites. Don’t skimp on the brats, either.

Moon Time, Coeur d’Alene, ID

Moon Time serves food and drinks in a comfortable atmosphere. Drinks include micro brews and fine wines. Food options include soups, sandwiches, pastas, salads, and daily specials. Come in on Thursdays for live music.

O’Malley’s Sports Pub and Grill, Rathdrum, ID

O’Malley’s Sports Pub and Grill brings the authentic Irish pub experience to Rathdrum, Idaho. They’re open at 11 a.m. for lunch and close every night at 10 p.m. While this isn’t your stay-up-all-night party spot, it’s a great place to bring the family or hang out on a lazy Saturday.

Power House, Hailey, ID

Power House in Hailey, Idaho isn’t your typical pub. They sell beer and call themselves a pub, sure, but they’re also a high-end bicycle shop. Come in for tacos, wings, burgers, beer, and bikes.

City Limits Brew Pub, Wallace, ID

The City Limits Brew Pub in Wallace, Idaho, is the current home to the North Idaho Mountain Brew. Go for a tour of the brewery or enjoy an afternoon of great eats and drinks. If you’re ordering food, make sure to take a gander at their pairing menu to know which beers work best with which food items.

Firehouse Pub and Grill, Meridian, ID

The Firehouse Pub and Grill opened in 2009 with the goal of providing a “laid-back atmosphere, great beer selection, quality food and friendly service.” The atmosphere is family-friendly and open for the kids. Check their website for daily specials.

Capones Pub and Grill, Multiple locations

Capones Pub and Grill has three Idaho locations: one in Coeur d’Alene, another in Post Falls, and a third in Hayden, Idaho. They opened in 1991 and are proud to have “more taps than tables.” Come in to catch the game and enjoy a good meal with a delicious brew.

Eichardt’s Pub Grill and Coffee House, Sandpoint, ID

Eichardt’s Pub Grill and Coffee house is a different kind of pub. Their food is delicious and, if you couldn’t tell from the name, drinks diverse. Order up a coffee and enjoy the live music or come in late for a nightcap. Eichardt’s does them both.

Sully’s, Star, ID

Which Irish pub offers “fresh seafood delivered daily, hand carved steaks, beer battered fish and chips and tonight only specials?” You guessed it: Sully’s. This traditional Irish pub has tons of feel-good favorite dishes along with a wide selection of beer.

The Cellar Pub, Ketchum, ID

The Cellar Pub in Ketchum, Idaho, is a fun spot for all ages. They’ve got a variety of cocktails and beers, free shuffleboard, video games, and sports playing on their many screens. The menu consists of traditional pub food done right with an assortment of draft and bottle beers.
