This go-to spot in Boise has everything you could want. Huge sandwiches and the friendliest customer service in the city. No, really! Some of the friendliest people work here, and everything is made to order. Their Philly is delicious, and as the customers say, this place is “the bomb.”

2. Das Alpenhaus Deli, Boise, ID

For an authentic German deli, which you don’t see often in Idaho, Das Alpenhaus is highly recommended. They’re always busy, which says a lot about any food establishment! Their meats and cheeses are pleasant and their bratwurst is so good! If you’ve ever been to Germany, you’ll appreciate this little piece of authenticity right here in the gem state. 

3. The Local Deli, Hayden, ID

The words healthy and deli don’t always go together, but they do here! Everything is made to order and super fresh. With two locations now, one in Hayden and one in Rathdrum, you’re sure to be able to find your way to this fine establishment. Their wraps are delicious!

4. Geraldine’s Bake Shop and Deli, Ammon, ID

Feeling like a sandwich? Maybe some melt in your mouth sugar cookies? How about both! Geraldine’s offers many fantastic options, but their soup is what draws a lot of attention here. Try their bread bowls, you won’t be disappointed.

Miller’s has been a Sandpoint favorite since its inception. With fine deli meats and cheeses as well as their delectable Amish bread, you won’t find a better place to satisfy your taste. A truly wholesome establishment, it’s worth seeking this spot out any day of the week. 

9. Goody’s Deli, Pocatello, ID

Goody’s has been consistently good as the best in town for many years. Their sandwiches are of course amazing, but their pizza is too! For a cold beer and a great meal, go to Goody’s. Their quality is second to none and it shows.
