The Black Bear Diner is a regional chain of down-home, old-fashioned American diners serving up classic American food. That means burgers, fries, and, of course, shakes. Stop in for breakfast, lunch, or dinner and choose a huckleberry, strawberry, chocolate, vanilla, cookies and cream, or malt milkshake for dessert.
Scotty’s Drive-In is a throw-back to the drive-up diners of the mid-20th century. Scotty’s uses the same stalls and drive-up service as when it first opened in 1964. The burgers are hot and the milkshakes are perfectly chilled.

Fanci Freez in Boise, Idaho, “has been bringing the Boise community delicious burgers, shakes, and fast food for decades,” according to their website. They’ve been serving up burgers, fries, and shakes since 1947, and the offerings have only gotten tastier. Simply walk up to the stall and place an order.
The Hangout in Cottonwood, Idaho, is a few-frills diner serving burgers, sandwiches, salads, and munchies. They invite you to hangout and use their free Wi-Fi while you sip on a malt or milkshake. Flavors include classics like vanilla, chocolate, and strawberry, with unique flavors like toffee and cookie dough thrown in for good measure.
The Hamburger Connection in Caldwell, Idaho, is known for their outrageously larger cones and their delicious milkshakes.
