The Hyde Park Street Fair is an annual festival held every fall in Boise, Idaho, to fundraise for FINE Grants and community programs. The festival is usually held over the course of a weekend and includes vendors, kid activities, exotic foods, live performances, community entertainers, and a wine garden.

You don't have to travel to Germany to celebrate your German heritage. An Oktoberfest celebration is held every year in Nampa, Idaho's Civic Center's garden. Stop by for live music, food, games, and, of course, and enough beer to make you never want to leave. Check the site for more infor on the event!
Sheep herding is part of Idaho's cultural identity, and the Trailing of the Sheep festival, held every fall, keeps the tradition alive. The festival takes place over several days through the towns of Hailey, Ketchum, and Sun Valley. You can find workshops, wool classes, lamb-showcased cooking classes, sheepdog trials, picnics, and more. The big event, called the Big Sheep Parade, sees 1,500 sheep herded down Main Street in Ketchum.

On the third Saturday of every September, Idahoans flock to Shelley, Idaho, to celebrate the humble potato. The tradition is going strong with over 90 years of history. Activities include the Miss Russet Pageant, Tater Trot, a 5K run/walk, a pancake breakfast, parades, and more.

Every year, the Magic Valley Arts Council of Hagerman, Idaho, throws the Thousand Springs Festival of the Arts. The weekend includes live entertainment, over 90 artists, and a beer and wine garden. Make sure to spend time at the waterfall, and don't forget to take a horse or mule drawn wagon-ride!

The Harvest Festival Street Fair, held yearly in Emmett, Idaho, is a free celebration of everything fall. You’ll find fantastic food vendors, artisans, and live entertainment. The nearby orchards are open for fruit picking, too.
