Bodacious Pig is a traditional barbecue eatery. They are located in Eagle, Idaho, and offer the best pork barbecue in the area. You really can’t beat the pulled pork sandwiches here. They use only the best pork butt and they trim the fat back so you get more meat. The sauces are excellent, as well.
Dickey’s is a national chain of barbecue eateries. Twin Falls is a smaller city in Idaho and has recently brought this chain to town. Although it is a chain, they do offer some of the best barbecue in the nation, as it is born from the best in the South. Prices are reasonable, and the food speaks for itself.
Smokin’ Gun offers the classics: pork, brisket, smoked turkey, etc., but they offer it smoked with local wood varieties. There is no imported food here. CD’s is amazing. These guys might be small, but they’ve got the best in the Moscow region. They offer up a super slow-cooked barbecue that is made with local wood. D. Willy’s made it on the list because of the atmosphere, and of course, excellent barbecue. This is the second and only other barbecue joint in Moscow, Idaho, but it is a fun one. They have the best environment in town, and offer a great beer selection. Willy’s always has a live band playing, generally of the blues variety. Good food, good beer and good music makes for a great time!
Grandpa’s is a memorable spot. They use old recipes, delicious seasonings, and boast a wide selection of pulled meats. The meats are brined and smoked for a very long time, too. Prices are inexpensive, food is great quality and the smoke is blowin’ for miles. The style of barbecue comes from the deep south.
